§ 82-240. No parking zones.
It shall be unlawful to park or leave unattended any vehicle on the following streets or portions of streets:
Bennett Street, located as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the south side of West Lanier Avenue, which is also designated as State Highway No. 54, beginning one block west of the intersection of State Highway No. 54 and State Highway No. 85, and extending south one block to its intersection with Stonewall Avenue.
East Lanier Avenue and Gwinnett Street: It shall be unlawful for any person to stand or park a vehicle upon the roadway on that thoroughfare known as East Lanier Avenue (also known as State Route 54) and parking or standing a vehicle thereon shall be prohibited from a point formed by the intersection of said East Lanier Avenue with the centerline of Glynn Street (also known as State Route 85) to a point situated 500 feet east of the intersection created by the easterly right-of-way line of Gwinnett Street and East Lanier Avenue. Excepted from the above prohibition of parking shall be that area of parallel parking situated on the north side of East Lanier Avenue in front of the property situated between 260 and 292 East Lanier Avenue, Fayetteville, Georgia, according to current methods of numbering property in the City of Fayetteville.
Jefferson Avenue, both sides, the easterly side of Jeff Davis Drive, easterly to the end of Jefferson Avenue.
Johnson Avenue, between Lee Street and Georgia Highway 85.
State Highway No. 54, both sides, the pedestrian crosswalk on the westerly side of State Highway No. 85, westerly a distance of five feet.
State Highway No. 54, both sides, from the pedestrian crosswalk along the easterly side of State Highway No. 85, easterly to Lee Street.
State Highway No. 85, easterly side, from the southeast corner of the intersection with Stonewall Avenue, southerly approximately 100 feet to a point at the south side of an alley.
State Highway No. 85, westerly side, from the southwest corner of the intersection with Stonewall Avenue, southerly a distance of 100 feet.
State Highway No. 85, both sides, from the pedestrian crosswalk on the northerly side of State Highway No. 54, to a point at the north end of the present curb and gutter, north of the intersection with LaFayette Avenue.
Stonewall Avenue, on both sides from the westerly side of State Highway No. 85, extending westerly along both sides of Stonewall Avenue a distance of 140 feet.
West Lanier Avenue. It is unlawful to park any vehicle on either side of the right of way of West Lanier Avenue, also known as Georgia State Route 54, between the intersection of said right-of-way with the westerly right-of-way of Georgia Route 85 and the easterly right-of-way of Grady Avenue as extended across West Lanier Avenue, said thoroughfare being that portion of State Route 54 beginning at mile log 9.90 and extending to mile log 10.68 of Georgia State Route 54 aforesaid.
