§ 82-1. Statutory provisions adopted.

(a)

Adoption by reference. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. tit. 40, ch. 6, O.C.G.A. §§ 40-6-372—40-6-376, 40-6-1—40-6-395, except for O.C.G.A. §§ 40-6-393 and 40-6-394, of that chapter known as the Uniform Rules of the Road and the definitions contained in O.C.G.A. § 40-1-1 are hereby adopted as and for the traffic regulations of this municipality with like effect as if recited herein.

(b)

Penalty. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by law, every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject up to the maximum fine and/or the maximum term of imprisonment as authorized by the city's Charter.
